North Shore DOg Walking
More Than Just a Walk – A Big Outdoor Experience
Our hikes are designed to exercise dogs physically while fulfilling them mentally and socially.
We spend hours outdoors covering 5–10 km of beautiful North Shore terrain, allowing dogs to hike, sniff, climb, play, swim, and explore at a natural pace alongside trusted companions and a highly experienced dog walker.
Structured pack dynamics, consistent routines, and carefully selected groups create a calm, safe environment where dogs can build confidence, develop healthy social skills, and truly enjoy the freedom of the trail.
Whether your dog is an energetic adventurer, a water-loving explorer, or simply happiest surrounded by nature and friends, every outing is thoughtfully designed to provide the exercise, stimulation, and balance they need to thrive.
The difference shows when they get home.
Because dogs are at their best when they get to be dogs.

Faqs
How many dogs are there in a group?
Each group has 4-6 dogs.
Will different people be showing up to my home to do the walks?
No. We keep things simple and professional—we’re a small, dedicated team. That means you and your dog will see the same familiar face each time, providing consistency, trust, and peace of mind.
Unlike some larger dog walking companies that may rotate dozens of different walkers, including new hires and subcontractors, we do not operate that way. We prioritize building a reliable, personal relationship with both you and your dog.
How do we get started walking with you?
Prior to the first walk, we’ll schedule a quick meet-and-greet. We’re flexible to swing by most afternoons, evenings and throughout the weekend. It’s a quick meet to go over the service and make sure its a good fit for everyone.
From there, we’ll arrange a trial walk. In many cases, dogs are able to get started as soon as the next day.
Is there an attendance requirement?
Dogs joining us should be able to commit to at least one scheduled walk per week. We understand that you may be away from time to time (for example, on vacation).
If you ever need to switch your day or would like to add extra walks, just let us know – happy to accommodate with our flexible booking!
What if my dog can't be off-leash?
Our walks are meant for dogs with lots of off-leash experience.
For young puppies who are still learning, we use a long-line training leash, among other tools like clickers, gps trackers and yummy treats, to safely build their confidence and practice reliable recall before transitioning them to full off-leash adventures.
At what age can my puppy join the walks?
Young pups can join our adventures starting at 16 weeks of age, once they’ve received their third round of vaccinations.
Our pack is full of social, well-mannered dogs who are always welcoming to new members. We take extra care with puppies—using training leashes, GPS tracking collars, and positive reinforcement to build great recall and confidence on the trails.
Do you offer daycare or something similar?
We don’t offer traditional daycare at an indoor facility – instead, we provide double walks, our version of a day experience. Your dog spends 5–6 hours out with us, getting real exercise, fresh air, and proper stimulation.
Dogs come home very calm, tired & content.
Are you Pet First-Aid Certified?
Yes! Eric was first certified in 2013 after completing a 2 day course with St. Johns Ambulance Canada’s Pet Aid Course. He’s since renewed his pet first-aid through various programs and has over a decade of hands on experience.
Do you have a permit to dog walk on The North Shore, Bonded & Insured?
Yes!
How is payment done?
We bill clients on a bi-weekly basis, with a detailed invoice outlining all services incurred. Payment can be made via e-transfer, cash, or credit card.
